Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor in Berlin, Germany

Salary: 120,000 - 140,000 EUR per annum

Job Description:

We are partnering a Data Centre developer who is building a €1.5bn Data Centre in the Berlin area, and seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join team in Berlin, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all cost management aspects of MEP projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to stakeholders
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
• Manage change orders and variations to the contract
• Provide input on risk management and mitigation strategies

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CostX or Bluebeam

4 days a week on site, Excellent accommodation and weekly travel package provided along with VISA if necessary..
