Position Summary
In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting business leaders, managers, and employees by providing strategic and operational people guidance. This role partners closely with leadership to drive workforce readiness, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and culture initiatives.
You will support business priorities by advising on people strategies, coaching managers, addressing employee matters, and ensuring successful implementation of HR process/programs. People Partner is a trusted consultant who understands business challenges and translates them into effective people solutions aligned with KBR's culture and values.
Responsibilities:
- Partner strategically with business leaders to translate business goals into comprehensive workforce and org design strategies.
- Lead workforce planning, talent reviews, and skills strategy, proactively identifying future capability gaps and building long-term solutions with L&D.
- Drive succession planning frameworks and ensure robust pipelines for critical roles, including oversight of high-potential talent development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert guidance on complex people, performance, and policy matters.
- Influence business decisions through data-driven insights, workforce analytics, and organizational diagnostics.
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws, governance standards, and internal policies, mitigating organizational risk.
- Lead and coach managers on advanced performance management, leadership capability building, and career development frameworks.
- Drive and manage large-scale change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, adoption, and sustained employee engagement.
- Collaborate with COEs (TA, L&D, Rewards, ER) to design and deliver integrated talent strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Champion and embed organizational culture and wellbeing strategies at scale.
- Oversee resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and business-aligned outcomes.
- Lead governance and execution of HR systems (e.g., Workday), global HR programs, and process excellence initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within HR, enhancing efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's in HR/Business (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in HRBP/strategic HR roles.
- Strong expertise in India labor laws & compliance.
- Ability to influence and guide leaders.
- Experience in Employee Relations
- Experience driving people strategy at scale.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Workday and HR analytics.
- Experience in change management and handling Employee relations cases.
Preferred
- HR Business Partner certification.
- Experience in organizational development, change management, or leadership coaching.
