Job Description:

The Certified Paint Specialist is responsible for ensuring the long-term integrity and corrosion protection of critical offshore mechanical and structural assets through the application of high-standard protective coating systems.

Working with minimal supervision, the role focuses on implementing preventive and corrective coating strategies, providing technical expertise in surface preparation and coating application, and ensuring full compliance with offshore safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling standards.

Job Description:

• Lead and execute specialized industrial painting and coating activities to ensure assets are protected in accordance with design and technical specifications.
• Perform and supervise advanced surface preparation activities, including abrasive grit blasting and mechanical/power tool cleaning, to achieve required surface profiles and cleanliness standards.
• Apply multi-layer coating systems (primer, intermediate, and topcoat) using airless spray equipment and approved manual application techniques.
• Conduct coating inspections using industry-standard testing equipment, including Wet Film Thickness
