Senior Site Electrical Engineer

Data Centre Project | Paris, France | 6-Month Contract
Our client, a specialist consultancy within the mission critical and data centre sector, is seeking a Senior Site Electrical Engineer to support the final delivery phase of a major data centre project in Paris.
Working closely with the client, contractors and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving electrical completion activities, managing snagging items and supporting the project through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical inspections and site walkdowns.
• Identify, record and track snagging and defect items.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and system acceptance activities.
• Review electrical documentation and as-built information.
• Attend site progress and coordination meetings.
• Report on project status, risks and outstanding actions.
• Support handover and project close-out activities.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience delivering data centre projects is essential.
• Experience in site delivery, QA/QC, commissioning, completions or handover activities.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical systems.
• Experience working directly with contractors and site teams.
• Ability to identify issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• French language skills preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience representing a consultant, client-side team or owner's engineer.
• Experience on mission critical construction projects.
