Job Description

Hill International is looking for an experienced Project Director to lead major infrastructure projects in Valencia, Spain.

We are seeking a hands-on leader with the ability to translate strategy into action, build and guide high-performing teams, and provide clear direction to clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.

Experience in port, maritime or logistics infrastructure would be highly valued, although candidates with strong backgrounds in transport, industrial, aviation, rail, energy or other complex infrastructure sectors will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Advise clients in defining project objectives, delivery strategies, governance structures and expectations.
• Represent and protect the client's interests throughout project delivery.
• Oversee programme, cost, risk, quality, contract and stakeholder management activities.
• Administer major construction contracts, typically on behalf of third-party clients and often under FIDIC or similar forms of contract.
• Drive project execution and ensure that strategic objectives are converted into clear actions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in project delivery.
• Proven experience leading major infrastructure or complex construction projects.
• Strong contractual, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Location: Valencia, Spain.
