In which organization will you work as an Indirect Senior Buyer - Supplies & Logistics (M/F) ?

We are looking for our client, a leading company in the energy and engineering sector, for an Indirect Senior Buyer - Supplies & Logistics (H/F) to support operations across the Central Europe and Africa region.

What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement function, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the procurement of services, materials, and equipment within the Supplies and Logistics categories;
• Negotiating market prices and contracts while ensuring compliance with internal approval processes;
• Preparing RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders;
• Monitoring major purchase orders and contracts and amending them when necessary;
• Supporting internal stakeholders throughout contract execution, particularly in case of supplier disputes;
• Identifying and proposing a supplier panel adapted to business requirements;
• Conducting sourcing activities and onboarding new suppliers;
• Integrating non-referenced indirect suppliers into the procurement ecosystem;
• Assessing and managing supplier risks by monitoring key suppliers;
• Ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, processes, and the Global Indirect Sourcing & Procurement strategy;
• Supporting the deployment of digital procurement solutions and continuous improvement initiatives in France;
• Contributing to the implementation and use of ARIBA for supplier creation and management;
• Monitoring procurement KPIs through Power BI;
• Participating in Lean and process improvement projects;
• Organizing and coordinating meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

What profile and skills are required for this Indirect Senior Buyer - Supplies & Logistics position?

Education

• Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar indirect procurement position;
• Proven experience in the procurement of supplies, materials, and logistics services;
• Experience in an international and industrial environment is highly desirable.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills;
• Solid knowledge of contract management and procurement legal principles;
• Good understanding of procurement processes and sourcing methodologies;
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and lead cross-functional projects;
• Proficiency in procurement digital tools such as ARIBA and Power BI;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with a rigorous and methodical approach;
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment;
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
