Director of Data Centre Build and Engineering

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Director of Data Centre Build and Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our data centre infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background in data centre operations, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and construction of new data centre facilities
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of data centre infrastructure
• Develop and implement best practices for data centre operations and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data centre operations and management
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale data centre build projects
• Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including networking, storage, and cooling systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus
