Short Description

An Able Seaman on an Offshore Installation Vessel performs deck operations, assists with mooring, supports crane and installation activities, stands watch as directed, and carries out routine maintenance such as chipping, painting, and cleaning.

Function Description

As an Able Seaman, you'll be a vital part of our offshore team, making a real impact every day.

• Stand watch on deck and assist the officer on duty as required.
• Handle mooring lines during mooring and unmooring operations.
• Assist with cargo handling, deck operations, and equipment movements.
• Support offshore installation activities such as crane operations, rigging, and deck preparations.
• Perform routine deck maintenance including chipping, painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and support emergency drills and safety routines.

• AB CoC;
• Chester Step;
• STCW Basic Safety;
• STCW Designated Security Duties;
• HUET with CA-EBS;
• GWO Working at Heights and Manual Handling;
• UK Frontier Worker Permit;
• Helideck Assistant course certification.
