Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Offshore AUT Inspector to join our team in Mozambique. In this day shift position, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of automated systems and equipment in our offshore operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of our automation infrastructure through meticulous examination and quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of automated systems, equipment, and components to identify defects, non-conformances, and areas requiring maintenance
  • Perform quality assurance checks and automated testing procedures in accordance with established industry standards and organizational protocols
  • Document all inspection findings, observations, and test results in detailed reports with clear, organized records for compliance and audit purposes
  • Analyze inspection data and troubleshoot automation system issues to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to address identified issues and implement solutions
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, and offshore operational guidelines
  • Maintain organized records and maintain equipment calibration logs to support ongoing quality management
  • Communicate inspection results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
  • Perform routine preventive inspections and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inspection, quality assurance, or automated systems testing in an industrial or offshore environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, control systems, and related equipment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues with attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills with the ability to prepare clear, comprehensive inspection reports
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Valid offshore safety certifications (BOSIET, FOET, or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Preferred: Experience in offshore oil and gas, marine, or energy sector operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of automated testing tools and software
  • Preferred: Experience with regulatory compliance audits and inspections

  • Mission duration : 12 months/ renewable
  • Rotation : 4*4
