Job Title: System Completion Engineer

Location: Turkey

Job Description:

The System Completion Engineer will manage the seamless turnover of all structures, piping, and equipment from the construction yard to the commissioning and operations teams. Leveraging a strong construction background, you will track system/subsystem readiness, maintain certification dossiers, and ensure the facility reaches Ready for Start-Up (RFSU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Handover & Turnover: Lead the systematic handover of Floating Production Unit (FPU) subsystems from construction contractors to commissioning, ensuring compliance with project handover procedures.
  • Database Management: Oversee system completion databases (e.g., WinPCs, MC Plus, or similar) to track tag statuses, assign check-sheets, and log Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Punch List Management: Chair weekly meetings with construction and commissioning teams to prioritize handovers and track, verify, and close-out punch list items.
  • Certification & Documentation: Review and verify certification dossiers, Discipline Acceptance Certificates (DAC), and Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCC).
  • Construction Integration: Utilize construction engineering expertise to identify engineering bottlenecks, sequencing issues, or interface clashes before they delay mechanical completion.
  • Compliance & HSE: Ensure all construction and completion activities comply with FPU class rules (e.g., DNV, ABS) and strict offshore safety standards.


Requirements & Qualifications
  • Background: Bachelor's Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Structural, or Ocean Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in system completions, turnover, or construction engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector (FPSO, FPU, or fixed platforms).
  • Skills: Expert in reading P&IDs, Isometrics, and structural drawings. Deep knowledge of oil and gas turnover management software and ITP structuring
