NWP Pipeline HSE Supervisor
We are looking for a Pipeline HSE Supervisor wih the following details :
- Location : Basrah, IRAQ
- Rotational 4 weeks ON and 4 weeks OFF
- Planned Start Date : Jan 2027
- Duration : 24 months, extendable
The NWP Pipeline HSE Supervisor is in charge of monitoring/supervising contractors' activities during constructions. With the support of the HSE Superintendent, the HSE Supervisor will advise and assist the Company Site Team on a daily basis in management.
Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Total Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
- Relevant Experience Required: Minimum 5 years working experience in a high hazard industry (i.e., Construction, Oil & Gas, onshore plant)
- Industry-Specific Experience: Construction, Oil & Gas, onshore plant industries
- Minimum Qualification Required: Professional HSE qualification at Diploma/Degree level (minimum)
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of spoken and written Arabic is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise contractors' activities during constructions.
- Assist the Company Site Team and Contractors in the implementation of risk analysis, incident management, permit-to-work process, and industrial hygiene implementation.
- Promote HSE culture on site through safety talks and deployment of HSE tools, such as Program "0 Fatality" (Safety Green Light, Life Saving Checks, Joint Safety Tour), Stop Card, Safety and Sustainability Moments, and World Day for Safety celebration.
- Ensure similar programs and tools are deployed by Contractors on their own worksites.
- Support environmental studies on site with appropriate risk assessments and the Permit to Work system.
- Assist the Site Medical Doctor in implementing the Company Health Plan, Medical fitness procedure, and MEDEVAC procedure; participate in audits and inspections of camp facilities.
- Supervise Contractors' activities to ensure compliance with HSE plans, HSE bridging documents, and Risk Assessments during contract execution.
- Participate in HSE induction and orientation.
- Assist in setting up, testing, and continually updating Emergency plans.
- Follow up on Contractor Action tracking lists resulting from incidents, anomalies, drills, HSE audits, and inspections.
- Participate in the reporting and investigation of incidents and anomalies.
- Participate in site inspections and audits as scheduled.
- Assist in organizing Site HSE Committee Meetings.
- Report on a daily basis to the HSE Superintendent.
- Assist the site team in the use of reporting tools.
