About the tasks

The Materials, Logistics and Procurement Department of the Coral Norte Project is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all equipment and materials required for the construction of the project at the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) shipyard. The department oversees procurement management, delivery tracking, logistics coordination, and the availability of equipment and materials on site in accordance with the project schedule.

The department works closely with the Procurement, Construction, and Planning teams, as well as with suppliers and SHI, to anticipate and resolve any potential issues that could impact the progress of the works.

• Delivery Tracking & Monitoring:

• Maintain and update the Critical Equipment Delivery Tracking Register.
• Monitor delivery status of critical equipment against contractual and agreed delivery dates.
• Identify delayed deliveries and quantify schedule impacts.
• Ensure supporting evidence is properly recorded, including delivery notes, receiving reports,
inspection reports, and logistics documentation.
• Prepare regular delivery status reports and dashboards for project management.
Material Follow-Up at SHI Yard
• Track material arrivals at SHI yard and verify receipt status.
• Follow up on material location, storage status, and availability for construction activities.
• Coordinate with SHI, vendors, logistics providers, and project teams to resolve materialrelated issues.
• Monitor material movements from receiving, storage, inspection, and release stages

• Blocking Point Management:

• Identify and maintain a register of material-related blocking points affecting construction.
• Follow up on outstanding issues such as:

o Delayed deliveries
o Missing documentation
o Receiving inspection delays
o Equipment damages
o Punch items preventing installation
o Storage and handling constraints

• Escalate critical issues impacting project milestones.

• Interface Coordination

• Act as focal point between:

o Material Team
o Planning Team
o Construction Team
o Procurement Team
o SHI Yard Representatives
o Vendors and Freight Forwarders

• Participate in coordination meetings and provide updates on delivery status and critical materials.

• Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly delivery reports.
• Maintain accurate records of material status and related documentation.
• Support preparation of schedule impact assessments and delay analyses.
• Assist in compiling supporting documentation for project claims when required.
Construction Readiness Support
• Monitor availability of materials required for planned construction activities

• Track receiving inspection status, punch clearance, and damage resolutions

• Support construction teams by ensuring timely visibility of material readiness

About you :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction Management, or equivalent
• English fluent
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
