We are recruiting for a Project Manager with the following details


Location : Doha, Qatar
Work Scheme : Residential, single
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Dec 2027

Lead and oversee the Headquarters Relocation project, ensuring delivery against approved milestones, deliverables, timelines, and operational constraints. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, governance, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on high-quality delivery across all phases.

Experience Requirements

  • Total Experience Required: Minimum 10+ years
  • Relevant Experience Required: Minimum of 10+ years of relevant project management experience with demonstrated leadership in complex, large-scale projects
  • Industry-Specific Experience: Proven experience in delivering major capital projects, including office buildings, corporate headquarters, corporate developments in Qatar. Extensive experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments, preferably on projects exceeding 25,000 sqm in scale and high operational impact

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or an equivalent qualification are mandatory

Responsibilities and Skills

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Planning & Execution:

      • Lead and oversee all phases of the Headquarters Relocation project, ensuring adherence to approved milestones, deliverables, timelines, and operational constraints.
      • Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, including dependencies, critical paths, and schedule buffers.
      • Oversee documentation, including Project Management Plan, budgets, risk registers, KPI tracking, and project handover materials.
      • Monitor site progress, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.
      • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless delivery and operational handover.
    • Project Controls, Governance, and Documentation:

      • Implement project governance frameworks and ensure strict compliance with company standards.
      • Lead and document governance forums/meetings.
      • Maintain centralized digital systems for project data and ensure record accuracy and accessibility.
      • Integrate lessons learned into ongoing project activities.
    • Stakeholder Management, Communication & Reporting:

      • Serve as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and management.
      • Maintain effective communication channels and provide progress reports/KPI updates to senior management.
    • Risk, Compliance & Sustainability:

      • Identify and mitigate project risks while addressing performance against KPIs and operational requirements.
      • Ensure full compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and HSE policies.
      • Implement environmentally responsible initiatives to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency.
    • Procurement, Vendor & Contractor Management:

      • Oversee procurement/tendering, technical evaluations, and contractor performance.
      • Manage coordination between procurement activities and operational readiness planning.
    • Contracts Management:

      • Draft, review, manage, and monitor contract compliance, amendments, and disputes.
    • Budget Management:

      • Develop and monitor project budgets, manage cost estimation/forecasting, and prepare financial reports.
      • Address budget variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Technical & Domain Skills:

    • Familiarity with Qatar-specific building laws, regulations, codes, and standards, including regulations from Municipality, Civil Defense QCD, Security Department SSD, and building permits.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and systems.
    • Expertise in full project lifecycle management: design, construction, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in complex environments.
