Function Description

As a 2nd Engineer on our Flexible Fallpipe vessel, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and powerfully. You'll make a real impact by:

• Operating and meticulously maintaining vital machinery like main engines, generators, and pumps.
• Diving into troubleshooting and repairs for complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Playing a key role in keeping our specialized fallpipe and trenching equipment in top condition.
• Performing thorough routine inspections and planned maintenance to keep us sailing strong.
• Upholding the highest safety and environmental standards, every single day.
• Mentoring and guiding our Motormen/Greasers, fostering a strong, skilled engine room team.

Requirements

To excel as a 2nd Engineer, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Possession of all necessary STCW certifications relevant to a Second Engineer.

• Current BOSIET or FOET certification, including HUET and CA-EBS.

• Valid GWO Working at Heights certification.

• A current USA B1 visa with an annotation for wind farm activities.

• A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to continuous professional development in your role as a 2nd Engineer.
