We are currently seeking a Vendor Performance Management (VPM) Coordinator reporting directly to the Department Manager to join our sourcing and procurement team based in Houston, TX USA.

The VPM Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the on-time (expediting) and on-specification (inspection/quality) delivery of equipment and/or material ordered for TEN projects according to the team organization processes, and systems to manage supplier purchase orders.

The VPM Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the on-time (expediting) and on-specification (inspection/quality) delivery of equipment and/or material ordered for TEN projects according to the team organization processes, and systems to manage supplier purchase orders.
The main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review/analyze the schedule information provided by assigned suppliers and provide relevant feedback concerning delivery ability and monitors PO execution.
- Regularly update status of orders in material tracking tools utilizing Hexagon Smart Materials.
- Coordinate inspection activities (what/where/when) with the supplier and TEN contracted 3rd party inspection agencies in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
- Conduct on-site expediting visits, to regional suppliers when assigned by VPM Project Manager
- Coordinate 3rd party expediting resources for regional and/or international suppliers as relevant
- Track / manage assigned 3rd party resources inspection/expediting budget (hours)
- Analyze and provide feedback, set-up systems/tools, reports using key deliverables (e.g. Pre-inspection meeting report, Pre-fabrication meeting report, expediting report(s), inspection report(s), Inspection Release Note, fabrication schedules
- Produce, distribute, and follow-up on relevant reports (e.g. Monthly Progress, bi-weekly Production Schedule)
- Maintain organized and accurate records for own scope utilizing assigned tools (e.g. Document Management Systems, Material Management Systems)
- Search for, identify, and immediately report supplier fabrication schedule impacts using the correct tools, processes, and communication channels for own orders.
- Search for, identify, and immediately report supplier fabrication quality impacts using the correct tools, processes, and communication channels for own orders
- Initiate and follow-up on quality issues in applicable tools (e.g. Intelex) and follow-up with relevant stakeholders (e.g. VPM management, QAQC,..)
- Search for, identify, agree, and coordinates schedule mitigation strategies with supplier, VPM Project Manager and Project Management team while following the implementation through resolution.
- Contributes to the supplier and 3rd party agencies performance evaluations covering schedule, quality (Non-conformity), Environmental Social Governance metrics.
