Ready to grow your career as a Planning & Cost Control Lead? Join a major industrial development project in Jubail and play a key leadership role in managing project controls, planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and project reporting.

Function Description

As a Planning & Cost Control Lead, you will lead the Project Services function and oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and project reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
  • Develop and maintain project control systems, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor project progress, cost performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and management project reports.
  • Manage project forecasting, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
  • Perform schedule and cost risk analysis and support contingency planning.
  • Coordinate with Finance on cash flow, budgeting, and cost reporting activities.
  • Manage project change control and management of change processes.
  • Review and approve contractor schedules, progress updates, and cost estimates.
  • Support project assurance reviews and decision gate requirements.
  • Lead project controls interfaces with contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Develop recovery plans and corrective actions for schedule and cost deviations.
  • Support project closeout reporting and lessons learned activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Project Services team.
  • Promote strong HSE leadership and project governance compliance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control, or Project Controls.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Middle East region, preferably in KSA.
  • PMP, APM, or equivalent professional certification is required.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 expertise is essential.
  • Strong experience in cost estimation, cost control, forecasting, and project reporting.
  • Proven experience managing planning activities for major capital or EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Startup phases.
  • Experience in Critical Path Analysis, Trend Analysis, Recovery Planning, and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and contractor coordination skills.
  • Experience within metal processing, refining, petrochemical, or industrial projects is preferred.
  • International project experience is an advantage.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
