Function Description

As a Motorman, you'll be instrumental in keeping our heavy-lift vessels running smoothly, ensuring every voyage is a success. You'll contribute directly to a safe and efficient environment for everyone onboard, working alongside a dedicated team.

• Collaborate with experienced engineers on crucial watchkeeping, repairs, and overhauls.
• Perform daily inspections, lubrication, and cleaning to maintain our engine room in pristine condition.
• Proactively monitor equipment, reporting any issues and ensuring all consumables are readily available.
• Support vital deck and crane operations, especially with our heavy-lift hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and implement corrective actions based on detailed maintenance plans.
• Contribute to the upkeep of essential vessel systems, from drainage to air-conditioning.
• Help maintain a hazard-free workplace by meticulously storing all tools and spare parts.

Requirements

To excel as a Motorman, you'll need:

• UK national or UK Frontier Worker Permit (UK FWP);
• BOSIET, HUET, CA-EBS;
• CoC Engine Room Watchkeeping (III/4);
• STCW Basic Safety training (SOLAS);
• STCW Security Awareness training (A-VI/6-1);
• Confined Space Entry;
• Passport, Seaman's book.
