Team Leader, Integrity (Integrity - Habshan)

JOB PURPOSE
Lead and manage the development, support and implementation of cost-effective programmes, standards, procedures, and a Companywide Centre of Excellence to improve and assure Technical Integrity of the Company's Plants & Pipeline assets throughout their lifecycle. Ensure the development of the relevant processes to manage the full visibility of Technical Integrity performance threats for enabling decision-making and contribute in achieving the business operations requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Policy & Standards Processes and Practices
• Develop, improve, maintain and communicate the Company's Technical Integrity framework and standards related to HSECES management to ensure the effective application of ALARP, the Technical Authority Framework, and other requirements throughout the asset life cycle.
• Manage and ensure the development, implementation, support and monitoring of Technical Integrity improvement programs, policy, processes, standards, procedures and tools in line with the set specifications and guidelines for the Company's assets performance assurance.
• Lead and manage a process whereby the Company's Technical Integrity events and risks are reviewed and assessed. Ensure the identification of improvement areas and the timely implementation of the corrective and preventive actions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Lead the development and support the implementation of a coherent and accurate reporting system for the assets technical integrity and related processes to provide basis for the management decisions.
• Develop an Integrity Status Reporting process and support the tools development, testing, implementation, maintenance and improvement to ensure real time assets' Technical Integrity Assurance status to enable decision-making. Lead the studies and analyses of the assets technical integrity. Ensure the timely preparation and update of the relevant reports highlighting the assets performance and remedial measures, if necessary.
Risk Management & Integrity Assurance
• Contribute to the development of the corporate Asset Integrity and Process Safety risk register and ensure that risks are properly registered and periodically assessed for the Technical Integrity Assurance.
• Lead a comprehensive risk-based assurance plan across the Company's Plants, Pipelines, and projects, in coordination with all stakeholders for Level 2 and 3 Audits to comply with ADNOC Standards.
• Lead and support Level 1 and 2 Technical Integrity audits in line with the Company's risk controls; ensure the effective and timely close out of the identified gaps.
Digital Technologies
• Explore and implement digital technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, Robotics, Drones related to Technical Integrity to improve HSECES Visibility, Performance, Availability to enhance Asset Integrity and Process safety of assets.
• Develop data analytic platform for Technical Integrity activities in line with the Company's digitalization strategies to meet Oil and Gas 4.0 vision and goals.
Community and Networks
• Set up and manage effective networks of internal stakeholders (e.g. process owners and subject matter experts) to maximise the Company's benefit.
• Encourage a proactive attitude and culture towards Integrity Assurance which include, but not limited to, assessing the current practices and align with world class standards.
• Ensure expert advice, support and training in relevant areas and act as interface between sites and other entities across the Company to establish and sustain improved ways of working.
Management
• Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved operational plans for the team in line with Department objectives.
• Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the team and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP's), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the team in coordination with the Human Capability Group to continuously develop employees with emphasis on UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.
Budgets and Operational Plans
• Compile and provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitor expenditure against approved the team budget levels.
• Investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Lead the implementation of approved team policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
• Implement the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the team in accordance with Company approved guidelines and continuously monitor the achievement of the Team KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card. Organisation Structure and Development
• Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Team that will best utilise human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to meet the business objectives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Encourage innovation, enhance employee motivation and support initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve operations and services.
• Propose improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the team.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the team in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Ensure adequate HSE training and induction for all team employees to meet HSE standards.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent level of degree.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 10 years of experience in a large Oil & Gas industry (preferably gas processing) in operations, maintenance, integrity assurance, including 4 years in supervisory roles.
• Understanding of all engineering disciplines, risk management, loss prevention techniques, Safety cases/COMAH reports, Bow Tie Assessments, LOPA, ALARP, RBI, SIL, SAP, etc.
• Experience to spearhead world class HSECES implementation programmes.
• Exposure to international technical integrity best practices with sound knowledge and application of international engineering standards and codes.
• Conversant with Oil & Gas operating plant activities and the key technical integrity requirements.
• Experience in managing Technical Integrity IVB (Independent Verification Body) programmes for all asset life cycle phases.
• Experience in developing professional technical integrity related manuals, procedures, and guidelines. Display analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
