Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate rotating equipment activities across multiple GALAXIE projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project and company rotating equipment specifications and standards.
  • Review engineering deliverables and manage technical interfaces with process, piping, instrumentation, and other disciplines.
  • Support EPC contractors and vendors during technical clarifications and issue resolution.
  • Define and oversee Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for rotating equipment.
  • Monitor construction quality, installation progress, and schedule performance.
  • Provide technical guidance to construction teams and rotating specialists.
  • Review and approve technical modifications proposed during construction.
  • Validate mechanical completion and support ICAPS pre-commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors to achieve successful commissioning and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU).
  • Participate in commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
  • Promote HSE excellence and ensure compliance with project safety standards throughout all project phases.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in rotating equipment within the refining, petrochemical, or oil & gas industry.
  • Proven experience supporting rotating equipment during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and other rotating machinery.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors, OEM vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of mechanical completion, QA/QC processes, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and commissioning documentation (e.g., ICAPS).
  • Ability to manage technical interfaces and resolve complex site issues.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising rotating teams is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English and French
  • Commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and ethical conduct.

  • Working Schedule : Resident 5 days per week
  • Duration of the mission : 6 Months
