JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is looking for a Specialist Quality Assurance (Inspection) to join our team in Saudi Arabia

RESPONSIBILITIES

Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has commercial and quality assurance/control experience on large to mega projects. Lead a team of Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure correct implementation of project guidelines, contracts, and other related procedures. Coordinate and perform quality audits for the implementation of work process and
contract procedures. Must have thorough knowledge of commercial and quality assurance/control methods, practices, international codes and standards, and procedures. Contributes to developing, implementing and assuring Quality Assurance Program planning and execution, including development of procedures and guidelines. Monitor Quality Assurance and Compliance and Project Design Delivery requirements in relation to active projects and resolving engineering and design complaints. Provide recommendations to improve processes and procedures in undertaking Root Cause Analysis for issued CARs.
Facilitate validation requirements for design readiness reviews prior to critical project milestones including design package review submissions, and Value Improvement Workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree/Diploma in Quality Management or related discipline
• Discipline inspection qualification where required - eg PCN/CSWIP/NACE, etc (essential)
• Membership of CQI/ASQ or equivalent country-specific body (desirable)
• Quality auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (desirable)
• Radiographic interpretation certificate (piping welding inspectors only - desirable)

• 10 years relevant experience (Preferably in the associated industry).
• Comprehensive understanding and application of ISO 9001
• Proficient in the analysis of processes and data
