In this role, you will provide comprehensive virtual support across HR operations, employee services, payroll coordination, and administrative processes. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality employee experience through timely issue resolution, accurate data management, and efficient coordination of HR programs.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and can independently manage high-volume, transactional HR work.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Employee Support & HR Help Desk
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to PTO, benefits, payroll, leave of absence, and HR systems.
  • Manage shared HR inboxes, ticketing systems, and voicemails, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve requests while maintaining high service standards.
  • Complete employment, insurance, county, and Medicare verification forms.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate HR partners as needed.
  • Benefits & Leave assistance:
    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits-related inquiries.
    • Provide guidance on leave of absence processes, including FMLA, state leave, and disability claims.
    • Support submission of required documentation (Benefit Connect, UNUM, etc.).
    • Assist employees returning from leave with missed deductions and payment reconciliation.


Payroll & Timekeeping Support
  • Submit timecard corrections and support payroll processing deadlines.
  • Coordinate resolution of payroll issues, including paycheck reissues and Kronos/timekeeping concerns.
  • Process wage hold releases and maintain accurate tracking records.
  • Scan, route, and maintain documentation related to garnishments.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.


HR Systems & Data Management
  • Assist employees with updating personal information in HR systems (HCM).
  • Support system access issues (e.g., Okta), including submitting IT tickets and tracking resolution.
  • Maintain accurate HR data across systems and trackers.
  • Manage and update internal tracking tools for payroll, onboarding, and recognition programs.


Invoice Processing & Financial Coordination
  • Code and submit invoices for HR vendors and services.
  • Create and track purchase orders and approval workflows.
  • Maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payments.


Tuition Assistance Program Administration
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for the Tuition Assistance Program.
  • Process employee tuition reimbursement requests, ensuring eligibility, accuracy, and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate and process direct payments to educational institutions for approved programs.
  • Track and maintain detailed records of applications, approvals, and payments.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding program guidelines, eligibility, and payment timelines.
  • Ensure program compliance with company policies and financial controls.


Employee Engagement & Recognition (Administrative Support)
  • Maintain tracking for service anniversaries and recognition programs.
  • Update recognition platforms and supporting spreadsheets.
  • Support engagement initiatives through administrative coordination.


Terminations & Employment Verifications
  • Process termination workflows during assigned rotations.
  • Prepare and distribute exit documentation.
  • Complete employment verifications via email and external requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of terminations and compliance documentation.


Scope & Impact
  • High-volume, service-oriented role requiring strong prioritization and responsiveness.
  • Direct impact on employee experience through timely and accurate support.
  • Requires strict attention to detail, particularly in payroll, financial, and compliance-related processes.
  • Operates independently while collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, payroll support, shared services , administrative support, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with shared services or employee service center environments supporting regional or global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing .
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) and a customer-focused approach when supporting employees and stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, Workday or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes, benefits administration, or leave management .
  • Experience managing financial processes such as invoices, reimbursements, or purchase orders.
  • Exposure to education benefits or tuition reimbursement programs.
