Short Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Rig Hand to join an HDD crew on a short-term project in Germany. The successful candidate will support daily drilling operations, assist with equipment handling, site preparation, tooling changes, housekeeping, and general labour activities associated with Horizontal Directional Drilling works.

Candidates holding a CE driving licence are preferred, as they may be required to assist with the movement of equipment, tooling, or support vehicles when necessary.

Function Description

• Assist the Driller and Mudman with daily HDD operations.
• Handle drill rods, tooling, reamers, swivels, and support equipment.
• Support rig setup, mobilisation, and demobilisation activities.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and consumables.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organised worksite.
• Carry out manual labour tasks associated with HDD operations.
• Assist with pipe handling, pullback operations, and site logistics.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Rig Hand, HDD Assistant, Drilling Assistant, or General Labourer on HDD projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and teamwork.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Valid EU work authorization.
• CE Driving Licence preferred
