Short Description

We are seeking an experienced HDD Driller to lead drilling operations on a short-term HDD project in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 200 and 100 ton Herrenknecht drilling rig, ensuring the successful completion of pilot bores, reaming operations, and product pipe installations.

Function Description

• Operate and control the 100 ton and 250 ton Herrenknecht HDD Rigs during all phases of drilling operations.
• Execute pilot bores in accordance with approved drill profiles and project specifications.
• Monitor and adjust drilling parameters to optimize performance and productivity.
• Lead the drilling crew and coordinate daily activities with the Mudman and Rig Hands.
• Monitor ground conditions and adapt drilling methods as required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of drilling tools, rods, reamers, and accessories.
• Coordinate drilling fluid requirements with the Mudman.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HDD Driller operating medium to large drilling rigs.
• Experience with Herrenknecht, Vermeer, Ditch Witch, American Augers, or similar HDD equipment.
• Strong understanding of HDD drilling procedures, tooling, steering, and pullback operations.
• Ability to read and follow drill profiles and project drawings.
• Experience working with drilling fluid systems and understanding their impact on drilling performance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Valid EU work authorization.
