Short Description

iPS Powerful People is looking for an experienced Drill Master / HDD Driller for long-term Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) projects in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for both the drilling operations and the coordination of the drilling crew, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Function Description

• Operate and manage HDD drilling activities using a Vermeer D100 rig.
• Lead and coordinate the drilling crew on site.
• Supervise drilling operations from setup through completion.
• Monitor and optimize drilling performance and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project management and site personnel.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support daily planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HDD Drill Master or HDD Machine Operator.
• Extensive experience operating a Vermeer D100.
• Experience with wireline gyro steering systems, preferably Brownline.
• Ability to manage both drilling operations and the site team.
• Good command of the English language.
• Valid A1 Certificate or willing to obtain it on a short notice.
• Valid EU VAT Number that can be verified through the VIES database.
