We are looking for an experienced Deck Mechanic / Engineer open for an exciting offshore assignment onboard the EuroJack-Up. Are you available to mobilise at short notice?

If so, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of the crew from the mobilisation phase and contribute to a long-term offshore construction project with rotation prospects.

Function Description

iPS Powerful People is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Deck Mechanic / Deck Engineer to join the vessel for an upcoming offshore project in Germany and Denmark.

The vessel will be mobilized immediately for a new project commencing in mid-August. We are seeking someone who enjoys practical work, takes initiative, and is willing to be actively involved in daily operations and maintenance activities onboard.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern self-elevating jack-up unit from the start of its operational deployment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and repair deck machinery and mechanical systems.
• Support mobilization and offshore project activities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Assist with crane and lifting equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Support daily operations of the jack-up vessel.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience is similar role is essential.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willing to perform practical hands-on work onboard.
• Ability to work effectively in a small offshore team environment.

Mandatory certification:

• Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid Medical Certificate
• GWO Basic Safety (5 modules)
• Chester Step
• Relevant STCW certification
• Role-specific training and certifications considered an advantage (e.g. lifting operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical awareness, hot work)
