Airswift is currently looking for a UK EV Construction Engineer for one of our largest projects in Aberdeen, UK. The schedule of this project is 5/40 schedule, and the length is 12-months, with the possibility of extension. We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality service to our client’s requirements. 

Requirements:

  • A strong track record in project delivery or in supporting complex Project management involving Civil installations across hydrocarbon forecourt and industrial installations.
  • An understanding of the standards and protocols of the industry
  • An understanding of industry standards
Desirable Experience
  • Technical and engineering roll out in the EV field.
  • Project Management of similar power and hardware Projects
  • 5-10 years’ experience in mid to large scale engineering projects
  • Broad professional experience in engineering and project management delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of civil & electrical installations and thorough understanding of the operation and structures of charging networks and how they are integrated.
  • Direct experience of industry & legislative standards in the EV space.
  • Agile Project management.
  • Fluent in all or any of English, German, Spanish or Polish

Responsibilities include inspection and monitoring of contractor's construction work for compliance with the Company\u2019s Safety requirements, Contract documents, Policies, and Procedures (quality, safety, schedule, specifications and environmental). Monitors schedule and reports to management on project status including weekly regular progress reports. Coordinates and communicates with internal and external partners regarding major construction projects and their impact.

\nOther duties may include but are not limited to:\n\n

  • Ensures contractor's compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.\n\t
  • Works with other teams to resolve disputes and maintain a positive relationship with property owners, contractor, and the public.\n\t
  • Assist Project Manager to identify, correct and prevent construction quality issues and schedule delays.\n\t
  • May support Project Engineers with constructability reviews of engineering drawings.\n\t
  • Attends safety meetings and ensures safety is the top priority on all construction projects. \n\t
  • Understands, recognizes, and recommends corrections on potential environmental issues before they occur.\n\t
  • Understands and executes current construction processes and procedures.\n\t

Our client is seeking an I&C Design Engineer III to work within their company located in Southport, NC for a 1 year assignment.
\nJob Responsibilities:\n
    \n\t
  • The individual will perform design engineering work for electrical and I&C projects within the engineering organization. \n\t
  • The I&C engineering work may include digital and software focused items. \n\t
  • Current qualification at a nuclear utility as a Modification Engineer under an INPO Accredited Program and knowledge of Passport or Consolidated Asset Suite for design and work order development is highly desirable. \n\t
  • Experience in Operations department is considered a desirable trait as well.\n\t
  • Individual will be required to obtain qualifications for a Modification Engineer prior to working independently.\n\t
  • Selected individual will act as the Lead Technical and\/or Responsible Engineer for assigned projects and in a support capacity on other project teams.\n\t
  • Responsibilities will include design package development, developing conceptual designs and specifications for bidding purposes, evaluating alternatives, technical support during implementation, setpoint development, coordination of design efforts with selected vendors\/AEs\/designer and conducting design package reviews. \n\t

      Substation Planner
        Airswift is seeking 2 Substation Planners to join one of our large utility clients in two locations: Charlotte, NC and Greensboro, NC, on an initial 1-year contract basis. This is a HYBRID position (in-office 3 days/week). A planner will plan and schedule all activities associated with line/substation construction and maintenance. Incumbents are expected to have complex skills and the ability to work independently and lead construction and maintenance activities scheduling calls of any complexity. This position will be responsible for planning and sequencing complex construction and maintenance activities, including equipment outage sequence, temporary facilities installations. Incumbents are expected to have complex technical skills and interpersonal skills to ensure safe and productive project execution. Incumbents will also be responsible for coordinating with Transmission, Distribution, and Generation leadership, and resolving technical matters.
