Role: Weight Control Engineer
Contract: 12 months
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames
IR35: Outside

Our Client has a requirement for a Weight Control Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Role Purpose:
My client is an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants.
They are currently looking for an experienced Weight Control Engineer to join the team on an exciting Floating Wind project.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Degree qualified engineer with design experience in weight control.
- Capable of estimating, monitoring and reporting weights and center of gravity (CoG) of dry, lift and operating weights relevant to offshore structures. Able to identify and monitor weight implication due to design changes.
- Capable of coordinating for all activities related to Weight Control in accordance with project and Client requirements.
Software:
- MS Excel and hand calculations.
- Knowledge of MathCAD is preferred
