POSITION SUMMARY

To direct, control the construction execution of projects, under the leadership of the Construction Manager, involving high technology equipment, engineering and services to achieve project completion on time, within budget and at the required levels of quality taking into account safety and reliability.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent/Construction Manager
• Supervise all HVAC equipment inspection & installation against the engineering documentation during the execution of construction activities.
• Able to preform HVAC installation testing against project requirements.
• Diagnose problems at site and work to resolve them.
• Knowledgeable about HVAC parts and tools required for maintenance and repair.
• Maintain details reports and keep records of the activities.
• Interpret HVAC blueprints and diagrams.
• Inspect and record equipment condition upon delivery and handover.
• Undertake technical integrity and HSE reviews/audits.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years minimum relevant HVAC experience in the construction of Petrochemical, hydrocarbon facilities or Oil & Gas field
• Experience managing EPC contractors’ standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
• Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
• Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
