About the job:
We are recruiting for a Graduate Piping Engineer to join our Graduate Development Programme, and our team in Woking with duties including, but not limited to, those outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertakes specialist activities or reviews of pant layout and piping engineering, based on their level of competency.
- Produce piping deliverables supporting Lead Piping Engineer, Chief Piping Engineer, and Piping Manager.
- Works to the requirements of the Piping & Plant Layout Design Deliverables and 3D Model.
- Supports the Piping & Plant Layout group in maintaining technical discipline standards.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
- Bachelors in an Engineering Discipline. Master’s degree advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial Processes for the Energy sector. Onshore or Offshore.
- Knowledge of Plant Design and Engineering codes (ASME, BS, NORSOK and EN).
- Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, mainly Static Equipment and Piping.
- Ideally some knowledge with 3D-2D Design engineering tools. (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks).
- Knowledge within Materials and Metallurgy, Structural calculation, and Fluid dynamics; preferred.
- Knowledge of GIS, Mapping, Satellite image handling, advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive approach. Alertness and attention to detail.
- Team player.
