About the job:

We are recruiting for a Graduate Piping Engineer to join our Graduate Development Programme, and our team in Woking with duties including, but not limited to, those outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertakes specialist activities or reviews of pant layout and piping engineering, based on their level of competency.
• Produce piping deliverables supporting Lead Piping Engineer, Chief Piping Engineer, and Piping Manager.
• Works to the requirements of the Piping & Plant Layout Design Deliverables and 3D Model.
• Supports the Piping & Plant Layout group in maintaining technical discipline standards.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

• Bachelors in an Engineering Discipline. Master’s degree advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial Processes for the Energy sector. Onshore or Offshore.
• Knowledge of Plant Design and Engineering codes (ASME, BS, NORSOK and EN).
• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, mainly Static Equipment and Piping.
• Ideally some knowledge with 3D-2D Design engineering tools. (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks).
• Knowledge within Materials and Metallurgy, Structural calculation, and Fluid dynamics; preferred.
• Knowledge of GIS, Mapping, Satellite image handling, advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive approach. Alertness and attention to detail.
• Team player.
