Job Objectives: As Fleet Support Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the entire project life cycle of Fleet Support projects related to the modification, upgrade, or asset integrity of existing FPSO facilities. You will oversee the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and handover to operation of these projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Profile: -

As a Fleet Support Project Lead will typically work in an office environment but will also spend time in the field at project sites. He/ She may be required to work extended hours, to ensure project deadlines are met. The job may also involve some travel, to project sites or other company locations.

  • Planning and execution of Fleet Support projects: Responsible for developing a project execution plan that outlines the scope of work, schedule, budget, and resource requirements. You will oversee the implementation of the plan and ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Cost control: Responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, and that costs are properly tracked and managed. This includes monitoring project expenses, identifying cost savings opportunities, and implementing cost reduction measures.
  • Risk management: Responsible for identifying and managing risks associated with Fleet Support projects. This may include conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Schedule management: Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule. This includes developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Quality control: Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to the required quality standards. This includes developing quality control plans, monitoring quality during project execution, and conducting quality audits.
  • Coordination with stakeholders: Responsible for coordinating with stakeholders such as contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. This includes managing relationships with external partners, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating project progress to stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Responsible for developing and maintaining project documentation such as project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Responsible for ensuring that all HSE requirements are met during project execution. This includes developing HSE plans, monitoring compliance with HSE regulations, and conducting safety audits.


Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project execution, with a focus on brownfield projects in the offshore oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as project planning, scheduling, risk management, and cost control
  • Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME, ISO, and OSHA
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred:

  • Good knowledge of FPSO & Operation experiences is an added advantage
  • Previous positions : Operations/Facility Engineer, Project Engineer/Manager for Brownfield projects
