Our O&G operator client is seeking a Lead Scheduler Decommissioning to work within their facilities in Perth, Australia on an initial of 12-months casual contract role.
Title: Lead Scheduler Decommissioning Employment Type: 12-months contract    Location: Perth 
SUMMARY ABOUT THE ROLE This role will provide planning and scheduling to the decommissioning and remediation team, which is a growing team that is responsible for the execution of a decommissioning project. RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop & deliver integrated schedule including Mobilizing, Pre-works, shutting in/ Hydrocarbon freeing & Decommissioning/ Remediation
  • Follow Scheduling work management processes to:
    • Review defined work scopes planned for integration into scheduling tool.
    • Develop and maintain Decommissioning Primavera schedules for all approved work including Mobilization, Prework, shutting in/ hydrocarbon freeing and Decommissioning/ Remediation execution.     
    • Produce High Level Overview Schedule for management and the IAP in format requested.
    • Perform schedule reviews with Coordinators and multi-functional teams, optimize and finalize schedule.
    • Perform resource levelling and produce all required manning histograms and other required metrics.
    • Develop schedule baseline.
    • Update schedules regularly using utilizing TAPRO where appropriate during all Phases (track, monitor, progress, and reporting) 
    • Update the schedule as approved work scopes are received from discipline coordinators. 
    • Monitor and advise the Team of the critical path & sub-critical path, flag any changes during phases.
    • Capture Review/Update Scheduling processes and procedures used.
    • Capture schedule and process lessons learned.
    • Deliver required information to the decommissioning Cost Team
    • Involve in assurance activities.
  • Build strong relationship with WA Oil stakeholders, establish, promote and maintain effective communication.
    • Engage with key stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications for planned activities.
    • Engage with Team Leads, Co Ordinator's, Production and Support functions to collaborate decommissioning activities during planning phase.
    • Engage with cost team, provide resource forecasts, and ensure alignment on budgets and cost processes.
    • Engage with stakeholders to promote ownership of the integrated schedule.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Planning experience, Scheduling in Primavera of large Turnarounds or projects, Communication skills
  • Nice to have skills: Decommissioning or maintenance background, Planning/scheduling experience 
  • Experience in planning and scheduling
  • Practical individual able to develop fit for purpose solutions
