Airswift (Air Energy Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a KSU Construction Specialist (E&I) (for KZ passport holders) for one of our large project in Tengiz, 28\28. Job description:

• Receives general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new or involved work. Proceeds on own initiative for routine work. Completed work is reviewed for critical or complex items. 
• Skilled in construction principles in his assigned discipline. Provides on-site construction representation for instrumentation and electrical works with minimal direct supervision of KSU Construction Supervisor.
• Reviews Job Packs and drawings and comments where discipline specific knowledge is required; reviews and comments on Safety in Design (SID) issues.  
• Manages construction contractors performance on site against weekly plan and construction schedule milestones. Safely manages high risk construction activities.
• Monitors contractor adherence to Safety Instructions, RoK construction codes, AFC drawings, and quality of construction. 
• Recognizes hazards and provides immediate report about accidents, injuries and near misses to relevant departments. Can participate in incident investigations as a team member and ensure a proper implementation of corrective actions.
• Reviews and approves all contractor daily timesheets for accuracy. 
• Validates and reports work progress to Planning and Construction Manager.
• Works with Project Engineers to manage Instructions to Contractors (ITCs) and Site Engineering Queries (SEQ). Able to assess Contractor SEQs and provide recommended solutions.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (preferably E&I)
• Not less than 3 years of the relevant work experience. 
• HV/MV/LV cable installations
• Cable segregation/installation/glanding
• Cable tray installation, grounding systems
• E&I equipment installation, power, and lighting installations
• Cable trenching specifications and correct procedures
• Substation installation experience
• Knowledge of Company's Safety rules and instructions, PTW, JSA, PPHA, etc.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
• Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
• Coordination and control skills in planning works and tasks
• Kazakh, Russian, English - Intermediate.
