> Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Preservation Supervisor (E&I) to consider a 24-month contract with one of our clients.

The purpose of the role:
Supervise, Implement, Monitor, report and define vendor recommendation and good engineering practice to perform preservation activities for FPSO equipment, inclusive of all discipline and piping items through the entire EPCI Phase.

Key Accountabilities
 

• Accountable for setting up and implement the Project Preservation program for all phases of the project.
• Review of Vendor documentation on preservation for related equipment
• Preparation of project Preservation Procedures as required.
• Identification of necessary tools, test equipment, consumables and preservatives as per the execution site PWL requirement.
• Arrival inspection of equipment to ensure preservation at storage of equipment.
• Preservation of equipment after installation at FPSO location.
• Executing preservation activities of equipment like Motor, Heat Exchangers, Compressors Generators, Electrical Panels, Various instruments and piping etc.
• Preparing Weekly and Monthly Reports
• Assign Supervise and guide yard personnel on execution of preservation activities.
• Ensure adequate manpower is planned for the liquidation of PWL as per the plan.
• Issue and maintain PWLs of preservation activities
• Report progress and concern issues to manage.
• Provide training and share lessons learned to the preservation workforce.
• Capture any specific lessons learned and report to Preservation Coordinator for corrective actions.
• Shall comply with company / yard safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Familiar with Permit -To-Work system and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4-6 years work experience in oil and gas Industries or FPSO Sector.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and offshore work experience is an advantage.
• Must be experienced in carrying out preservation/maintenance/operation of multi disciplines: - Electro-Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, mechanical, rotating & static equipment, turbomachinery, piping etc.
• High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) is an advantage
• Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion and General computer literacy (MS office).
• Commitment to take responsibility.
• General supervisory experience particularly in people management is essential.
