About this role: Project Engineer - Clean Utilities
Are you a dynamic and forward-thinking engineer ready to make a significant impact in the pharmaceutical industry? Our client a global leader in biotherapies and innovative medical solutions are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join the team.
The Project Engineer will work with the Clean Utilities team and will be responsible for assessing technical detail to direct decision making required for a major project being completed in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
This role may address complex business issues on occasion and requires independent judgment and decision-making ability.
This role has accountability for Clean Utilities project deliverables through cross functional leadership, team problem solving/collaboration and management of calculated risk while remaining flexible and responsive in a significant Tier 1 capital project environment.
- The Project Engineer will be involved in construction and coordination meeting.
- Liaise with builder, and electrical and instrumentation engineering teams, to coordinate construction and commissioning works.
- Waste treatment system
- Closing out construction and doing mechanical checks
- Verifying drawing, operation of equipment is correct.
- Starting qualification process in a few months
- Design qualification
- Bringing chemicals onsite
What you need to bring:
- Experience with corrosive chemicals
- Commissioning background
- Experience in similar role ideally
- Construction experience is preferred.
- Financial experience in managing budgetary responsibilities;
- Automation and in particular PCS7 experience is advantageous;
- A good understanding of quality, risk and contract management processes and procedures;
- Well-developed regulatory and compliance code understanding in respect to the manufacturing/production and engineering environment;
- Ability to understand “the big picture” and approach problem solving in a proactive consultative manner;
- Strong communication skills and consultative approach in working with key stakeholders to achieve the required commercial outcomes.
