Reporting in to Finance Manager, the Senior Account will be located in Dubai and will work on the company's accounting for the Iraqi branch as well as the day-to-day accounting for the Dubai office.
 
Some of the key responsibilities of the role will be:
 

• To manage the Iraqi branch accounting: invoices verification and registration, monthly PIT and SS

preparation for Iraqi employees and consultants, withholding tax management for suppliers and
customers, petty cash, bank movements, etc.

• To Participate in the preparation of Iraqi annual Financial Statement by interfacing with local

auditors.

• To support the local tax advisor in obtaining the documentation necessary for the functioning of the branch (social security clearance, tax clearance, license renewal, etc.)
• To ensure support to Iraqi projects for administrative and fiscal issues.
• The position will require frequent trips to Iraq to visit public offices, align with the local structure and with tax consultants.

 
The experience & core competencies required for the position are:
 

• Dynamic, flexible thinker, proactive and reliable personality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, plan, organize, prioritize, and delegate appropriately.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English, Arabic is a plus.
• University degree preferably on Economics/Business & Administration/ Accounting.
• 5 years' experience in industrial multinational companies.
• Already used to reporting in IFRS.
