> Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Upstream clients to seek a Facilities Lead III to work on an initial 8-month contract in Spring, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
  • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Involved with the ongoing operations of this equipment, suggesting maintenance schedules and consulting on future renovations and construction.
  • Two main scope focus areas:
    • corrosion piping replacement - ~550 spools, laser scan, generate isos, MTOs, procurement, bag and tag, and stage for installation over time as resources/operations permit.
    • equipment refurbish/replacement – 20-30 mini projects, perform analysis on most cost effective approach, coordinate with vendors/suppliers/engineering contractor, materials management to get equipment and material in country, installation and removal by affiliate operations and maintenance (O&M) resources.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ideal candidates with previous offshore project development experience (scoping, alternative assessment, project planning).
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
  • Will require ~1 month business trip to offshore Nigeria for project scoping.
