Technical Management – Production Strategy Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES (=) MAIN TASKS (+)
= Key support to Production System Leads
Production Systems are
- Oils separation
- Gas compression
- Water Injection
- Power Generation and Topside Utilities
- ICET (Instrumentation/Control/Electrical/Telecom)
- Production Stability & Emission reduction
= Support System Leads to develop governance of production systems and operation strategies
= Analyse fleet wide performance leading and lagging indicators (SRS, MOCs, QnA, Vendors RM&D notifications, OIPOC Catches…) in order to define continuous improvement strategies.
= Ensure KPIs for Production Strategy team are accurate and issued in timely manner
= Contribute to the development and implementation of the Smart Operation Production Hub Roadmap boosting efficiency and uptime of production systems through monitoring, surveillance and predictive technologies.
= Provide technical support as required during WIN, EXECUTE, START-UP and OPERATE phase
= Provide technical support and contribute to development of initiatives to reduce emission of our fleet.
+ Contribute to develop comprehensive and exhaustive AI System dashboards, Digital System Dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance, assess weakness & strengths, track key initiatives or OQs to improve system performance.
+ Review the SRS issued by fleet and issue monthly report to identify main contributors to Production System failure with objective to define strategic areas of improvement. This report shall include review of data quality.
+ Review the historical and current QnA & MOC issued fleet wides and issue a monthly report to identify potential solutions to be rolled out fleet wide for Production Systems.
+ Review OEM RM&D notifications, Pilot reports & OIPOC catches and issue quarterly reports to identify main failure modes and drive strategic improvements to Production Systems.
+ Participate to ideation, development, and deployment of current and new Emission Zero Initiative
+ Participate to ideation, development, and deployment of current and new Smart Operation Initiatives and Business Transformation Initiatives
+ Contribute to the development of new governances or update existing ones to improve performance.
+ Support System Leads to establish Systems performance baselines, map performance improvements vs initiatives deployed on each unit and bring visibility to value created by Production Strategy Team.
+ Contribute to Failure Root Cause workshops
+ Participate to development and update of 3Years plans and budgets for the department.
+ Participate to audits of system and mobilize offshore as necessary
+ Participate to HAZOP and HAZID as required
+ Be an advocate for system engineer thinking in the company and liaise with other technical departments in the company on the subject.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Process Engineer
- Minimum 5 years in Oil and Gas Industry
- 2 years of experience in Operation required
- Experience with FPSOs is preferred
- Strong ability to analyse data
- Open minded with capability to approach problems from multidiscipline angle
- Good soft skills and team spirit
- Good sense of ownership in the decision-making process
- Familiarity with process modelling tools (preferably HYSYS, UNYSYS) is a must for the process engineer
- Familiarity with PI, Seeq and PowerBI is a plus
- High Level of Safety Awareness, proactive, good interpersonal communication with strong commitment to a team culture
