Working in a newly created team, your responsibilities will be:
 
  • Partner with all stakeholders to execute the IoT product development cycle.
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of industrial IoT applications using continuous integration processes and tools.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software on a cloud IoT platform.
  • Work with operating companies and product management to define a front-end strategy that spans dozens of product lines and creative UI designs.
  • Manage an agile and scrum-based software development cycle.
  • Work with product management and operating companies to scope work, develop timelines, and build roadmaps.
  • Operate code reviews to ensure high-quality software is delivered.
  • Mentor other software engineers and aid in their growth.
  • Leverage technology and IoT knowledge base to make decisions on cloud platform, and 3rd party technology offerings.


And to be considered for the role you must have or know the following experience/skills:
 
  • 6+ years of software development experience 
  • 3+ years of relevant IoT/SaaS experience
  • Ability to lead a small team
  • Knowledge of modern software architecture and cloud platforms
  • Experience with REST based API’s
  • Implementation of RESTful/JSON web services
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment 
  • Skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, and able to influence others to support decisions
  • Self-directed to solve business issues across operating companies
