We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator (Mechanical) to join our project team based in Brentford. As a leading company in the industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects in accordance with strict standards and requirements. This is a 12-month contract position with an opportunity to contribute to a significant project in the area.
The Senior Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator (Mechanical) will report to the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Manager at the project level and corporately to the Senior Supply Chain Manager for SQS.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the EPCmC Supplier Quality Surveillance organization operates in compliance with Management, Knowledge System, and project requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Suppliers, Package Managers, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, and the client.
  • Report directly to the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Manager, with a functional responsibility to the Corporate Supply Chain Management Senior Manager of SQS.
  • Issue weekly reports on SQS activities to the Project SQS Manager.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Senior Manager of SQS, including planned and completed activities, number of inspections conducted, supplier quality events, and NCRs.
  • Attend EPCmC project meetings and weekly/monthly meetings as required.
  • Review Supplier Prequalification and Bid submissions to ensure compliance with project Quality requirements, including 'Quality, Inspection & Surveillance Requirements - Company Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors/Suppliers.'
  • Develop and maintain an SQS resource plan, demonstrating how SQS resources and Surveillance Subcontractor costs will align to complete the required work.
  • Prepare a Surveillance Plan for each type of equipment included in the project's Material Requisitions.
  • Arrange and conduct Pre-inspection Meetings with Suppliers to ensure detailed understanding of arrangements and compliance with project quality requirements.
  • Initiate, manage, and coordinate surveillance of Suppliers according to their surveillance plan and/or inspection and test plan (ITP) to ensure performance and compliance with requirements.
  • Review Supplier procedures, processes, and documentation to verify alignment with the Supplier's scope of work.
  • Carry out Supplier Quality audits as required.
  • Perform focused quality audits and surveillance reviews as necessary.
  • Review and provide comments on Supplier inspection reports, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Ensure attendance of inspectors for selected critical inspections/tests/FATs based on the suppliers' ITPs to instill the highest level of confidence in the procured equipment.
  • Review inspection/audit reports, complete Inspection Release Notes, Punch-lists, and Acceptance Forms.
  • Approve all personnel required by third-party inspection services.
  • Approve monthly hours and expense submittals from third-party inspection services.
  • Monitor, manage, and report the activities of contracted third-party inspection services.
  • Expedite and report the status, progress, and availability of Supplier quality deliverables and data.
  • Conduct pre-award capability assessments of prospective Suppliers.


Qualifications:
  • ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor Qualification.
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong QA/QC experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for allocated tasks.
