The Business Development Analyst is a member of the Strategic Partnership team and focuses on the Company’s strategic accounts. The Analyst should possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence within strategic account management. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, process optimization, and the ability to provide actionable insights that contribute to the growth and success of our strategic partnerships.

What You Will Do:                                                                                                         

  • Cross-collaborate between Operations, Finance, IMS data architects, and the Business Development team to gather and analyze data and develop dashboards related to strategic accounts and team performance. Assist in the development and evaluation of business performance metrics (for Strategic Accounts), 
  • Interview strategic account managers and key stakeholders to maintain and update account information databases (including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, etc.), ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data. 
  • Perform data quality audits around inconsistent data, incomplete data, business rule violations, incorrect data, etc.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and identify areas for improvement within strategic account management. Develop methods to improve CRM data accuracy and timeliness. Mentor the Business development team to enhance their business insight skills and train teams in leveraging the capabilities of CRM Dynamics. 
  • Support the development of strategic account plans by conducting research and providing data-driven insights that guide decision-making and enhance the overall account strategy.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate the performance of strategic accounts, assessing key performance indicators and providing actionable insights to enhance their value.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and best practices related to strategic account management and business analysis.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, operations research, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably within strategic account management or business development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI is essential.
  • Working knowledge of MS CRM Dynamics an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with colleagues at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

It Would Be Nice If You Had

Prior experience operating a subsidiary or large Business Unit within an organization. 

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to a manager.   

Working Conditions

Work will normally be performed in an air-conditioned office environment. Work will be non-manual, but the incumbent must be able to walk and climb among equipment and structures. There may be an occasional need to lift up to 10 pounds.
