We are currently seeking an experienced Material Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to an exciting Floating Wind project.

Job Description:

As a Material Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our Floating Wind project.

Your expertise in materials engineering and design will be critical in delivering safe, efficient, and competitive solutions in line with client and international specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams during Bids, FEED, and project execution stages to select the most effective and competitive materials and manufacturing solutions.
• Provide technical support to construction and installation teams, ensuring compliance with metallic materials specifications.
• Assist procurement by participating in technical bid evaluations (TBE), reviewing vendor documents, and maintaining clear communication with the client.
• Apply knowledge of welding and corrosion (desirable) to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards within the offshore and renewable energy industry.
• Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively within a team and address technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering with a focus on materials.
• Previous experience in materials design and engineering.
• Familiarity with materials selection for project applications.
• Knowledge of welding and corrosion (desirable).
• Proficiency in industry-specific codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
