Calling Mechanical Engineers!

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a hybrid basis, working on multiple concurrent projects across the water sector with the aim to provide 1.2 million people with drinking water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the design brief meets the project scope and that stakeholder requirements are met.
• Developing designs that meet technical and safety standards with consideration of efficiency.
• Working collaboratively with Procurement and stakeholders to develop tender documentation scope and specification.
• Supporting the provision of technical expertise for tender returns and quotations.
• Providing site supervision of works, where needed, to ensure projects are undertaken safely and in accordance with technical specifications.
• Preparing O&M manuals and updates.

Key Requirements:

• Have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with the design of mechanical engineering works in an industrial environment, including pumping systems.
• Working knowledge of CAD design with REVIT software.
• A Broad understanding of systems, plant, and processes used in municipal water treatment.
