Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer (Commissioning) to join the Project team of Amiral Program.
The Project team is managing the execution of a massive Petrochemical plant EPC project.
The Commissioning Engineer’s primary role is to review the procedures, plan, prepare, supervise and execute the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of the overall Petrochemical Plant.
Minimum requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
You must have Twenty years of experience in Project execution, including at least Fifteen years in Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
The desired qualifications and experience are as follows:
Relevant experience in Pre-commissioning and Commissioning for Oil and Gas Projects.
Must have Engineering Design and Construction/Commissioning Phase experience with a thorough knowledge of Engineering practices and economic principles in the applicable international codes, standards and specifications.
Ability to maintain strong relationships between multi-disciplines and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Qualification in Project management such as PMP is preferred.
Knowledge of OPERCOM methodologies is preferred.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Execute the Project according to scope, standards, schedule and budget.
Address technical issues arising in all phases of project development.
Review of Process engineering documents.
Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability.
Prepare / review of Commissioning procedures.
Ensure the procedures and documents are compliant with safety and quality standards.
Assist in preparing plan for the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Supervise all commissioning activities in accordance with the Procedures and standards.
Report Commissioning progress, performance, initiatives and issues to project team.
Liaison with internal stakeholders, Contractors and other external stakeholders as appropriate.
