The Lead Piping Engineer will coordinate with the EPC Contractor as required to ensure project success, Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with the project staff, the Client and the EPC Contractor.

The primary role of the Lead Piping Engineer will be to review, monitor and encourage the EPC Contractor to deliver the project safely, within the timescales proposed and meeting all technical specifications defined in the EPC Contract. The Piping Engineer main responsibilities are:

• Report all hold-ups, delays and problems including Technical, Schedule, HSE and Quality to the Relevant Engineering facilitate the resolution of these matters at a site level.
• Ensure that the EPC Contractor design and construction teams comply with the relevant design and construction methodologies and procedures.
• Ensure that the EPC Contractor implements the required international standards and the project procedures relating to piping works.
• Understand the EPC Contractor’s proposed piping design and construction schedule in detail and drive the Contractor to deliver to that plan.
