MAINTENANCE (REFINING)

Primary purpose of job

Carries out the skilled jobs, of installation, maintenance, calibration, Testing, repair and troubleshooting of all kinds of online Analyzers at QPRD which are vital for APC (Advance Process Controller). This job contributes, a lot to the organization, by reducing the breakdown, and improving the reliability of Analyzers, which minimizes unnecessary trips/shutdowns that can cause considerable production losses. It also improves and continuously monitors the product quality.

Experience & Skills

- 2 years full time training in electronics or Instrumentation. Followed by specialized training courses in electronic and all types of Analyzers system, especially NIR, FTNIR, GC’s & Air demand analyzers. - 8 - 10 years’ experience as Instrument Technician (Analyzer) in oil Refinery or petrochemical industry.

Education

Instrumentation Diploma or higher
