FIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)

Primary purpose of job

Implement, control & monitor and assure the Inspection program for QatarEnergy IS asset related to PS1, Halul Island and remote platforms. Review and document the process to demonstrate Fit for Purpose condition with risks mitigated to ensure IS objectives are achieved. Qualify and manage competency of Contract NDT Inspectors.

Experience & Skills

Qualifications and Knowledge: • Valid API 510 / 570 Certification, preferably API 653 and Plant Inspection certification. • Knowledge and competent in NDT / Advanced NDT techniques (UT, MT, PT, RT, PAUT, ECT, LRUT, AE and MFL) • Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable. (API and ASME) • Familiar with CMMS or SAP. Skills: • Should be well versed with MS office and computer skills, fluent in English and capable of running asset integrity related inspection data and corrosion management systems. • Strong and effective communication skills. • Strong consultancy skills, professional, self-motivated and a team player. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate initiative to resolve problems. Experience: • Minimum (10) years of professional experience in Asset Integrity inspection in NDT/Advanced NDT techniques in Oil & Gas Industry preferably in offshore environment. • Should have multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of engineering design practices and standards.

Education

Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
