*About the Role*

Are you an innovative Architectural Surveyor & Drafter with a unique and advanced drafting process? We are looking for someone with your enthusiasm to join our team! If you love architecture, enjoy hands-on work, and seek the excitement of traveling to new destinations, DedON is the team to join!

In this role, you will be responsible for documenting building conditions, taking measurements, and drafting As-Built drawings in AutoCAD at commercial sites to produce a comprehensive package of building information.

You will be traveling to sites all across the country, staying in hotel rooms Monday to Thursday each week. If you want the opportunity to explore the country all while investing in your architectural career, this is the role for you!

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct building surveys and follow a scope of work to gather accurate information, measurements and photos to deliver DedON quality projects on time
* Occasionally working from moderate heights
* Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
* Capture a photo story of commercial spaces
* Strategize on process improvement and efficiencies
* Travel to job sites around the country and planning your own travel and accommodations
* Manage travel expenses to align with project budget goals
* Communicate with projects team to problem-solve on-site challenges
* Represent the company in a professional manner when on-site and when interacting with clients

*Job Requirements*

* 5+ years AutoCAD experience required
* 2+ years As-built Survey experience required
* Ability to read and represent buildings in plan, elevation and section drawings
* Knowledge and proficient use of current site survey technologies
* Familiarity with basic construction knowledge, pre-construction services, architectural and MEP trades
* Must have a valid driver’s license required and clean driving record
* Flexible schedule and willingness to travel extensively
* Retail or hospitality experience an asset

Salary: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
