Identity & Access Management Specialist

Essential Job Functions:
The Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Department of State (DoS), Charleston, SC requires the contractor to provide Computer Security Specialist services in the Information Systems Security Office (ISSO). ISSO is responsible for the development and implementation of the information systems security program and the integrity and availability of all DoS network at CGFS.

Minimum Requirements
Four-year degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or a related field preferred.
Experience in computer security is necessary in areas such as intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, access management, network monitoring and/or network diagnostics.
Security + Certification.
Experience or certifications may be substituted for education or degree type.

Skills:
Assessing new or modified technical capabilities for information technology operations.
Perform systems design
Implementing controls, processes, and software
Resolve systems and production issues
Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly (orally and written)
Technology
Knowledge of and experience using Windows 10 in a Windows Network environment
Experience with PC workstation operations including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, and Windows 10

Security Clearance
All personnel under this task order must be able to either posses or obtain a security clearance of Top Secret to be issued by Department of State, Diplomatic Security.

Preferred Skills, but not Required
Certifications: Technical certification in computer systems security
Experience with Federal accounting systems
Experience with implementing financial accounting controls
Experience with network environments and/or computer security policies and guidelines is a plus

Job Responsibilities
Customer Service - walk-in, telephonic, Teams chat, email.
User account and email creation (active directory); access permissions.
Creation, maintenance, and distribution of Peripheral Devices.
Storing and distribution of the ClassNet Thick Client Harddrives.
Equipment encryption.
PIV exclusions list maintenance.
Support internal and external access management audits.

Software Systems Utilized
Windows 10
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Work Schedule
The employee will work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a non-compensated 45-minute lunch (See your Project Manager for work schedule and department policies). Additional hours may be required and must be authorized by your Project Manager and DoS Management. A hybrid schedule will be determined once the incumbent is deemed competent and proficient.
