HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (OFF)

Primary purpose of job

Ensure implementation of the QatarEnergy Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system by providing HSE advice and support for all QatarEnergy offshore department and ensure that all significant hazards arising from operation, Marine and project activities are well identified and controlled to enable QatarEnergy management to achieve strategic HSE objectives. Proactively support offshore projects and field development by providing HSE expertise to ensure that HSE requirement are implemented and fulfilled and a high safety standard is maintained throughout all project’s phases.

Experience & Skills

Skills • Ability to write technical reports. • Leadership, command and control. • Communication and Negotiation (oral & writing). • Computer program knowledge and use. Experience • A minimum of 13 years experiences in Health, Safety, and Environment field including 5 years in Operations or maintenance & 8 years “hands-on” experience in Oil & Gas (offshore) or Petrochemical industry.

Education

Education • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related discipline. • Holder of HSE training certifications from Internationally recognized institution (e.g. NEBOSH in Process Safety Management, IOSH, OSHA, ISO or equivalent).
