HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (REFINING)

Primary purpose of job

Check the HSE competency and compliance of personnel entering the process area. Inspect and control materials, vehicles, machineries, ignition sources and radiation sources accessing the process area.

Experience & Skills

• Computer literacy • 4 years of experience in Safety Division in a Refining Operations/Oil and Gas industry • Ability to perform field inspections, perform risk assessment, review/prepare proposals, and reports, communicate well orally and in writing, interpret and analyse data. • Ability to work effectively with various personnel and in teams and be flexible in work assignments. • Ability for improving bad working practices/habits, employee performance, maintaining improved performance, utilizing effective follow up actions to solve employee or work-related problems.

Education

• Completion of Secondary School education (12 years). • Completion of a Recognized Safety course • Completed level 5 English proficiency.
